Bodybuilding Bishop from Hamilton launches workout device (L.A. PARKER COLUMN) – Trentonian

A local Hamilton preacher who gives inspirational guidance for mind and soul now offers tough advice for your body.

True Love Center’s Bishop E. Earl Jenkins, who looks more like an NFL linebacker than a liturgist, hopes to raise the bar when it comes to exercise equipment. Don’t let the abs, biceps and butt fool you, Jenkins is approaching 60 years old with a figure that looks half his age.

Jenkins, part entrepreneur, entertainer, and evangelist, created, patented, and released the Core Champion push-up bar, which promises to improve every aspect of the human body for those determined to exercise determination.

Jenkins, 59, of Columbus, unveiled his device in mid-September, and the public presentation capped years of research and development.

“It’s been nine years of development and I feel like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders,” Jenkins said.

“I can say that I was impressed with the trip, which strengthened my faith on many levels. Much of what my team and I faced during this process required faith.

“Me personally. I encountered challenges that were unknown to me. I went back to school, I had to learn about how the body works, and I had to learn about business. I enjoyed every moment.”

Jenkins has always celebrated physical achievement and training to the extreme. The injury served as the origin for the Core Champion Bar.

“After more than 35 years of training with bells, I suffered a tear in my elbow. So I invented the Push-Up Core Bar to increase metabolic and core strength using a person’s own body weight. The patented multi-grip design reduces the risk of sprains and joint pain,” says Jenkins.

Jenkins notes that a short, focused workout with the Push-Up Core Bar will leave exercisers feeling energized and accomplished!

“I believe the bar is proof that with education, dedication and practice with the right equipment, we can all achieve the highest level of well-being,” Jenkins asserts.

The device enables over 80 different exercises that you can perform in combinations and sets. With a load capacity of 350 pounds, the durable bar measures only 37 inches long and 15 inches wide.

Weighing only 12.5 pounds, the bar enhances exercises with a curved base that improves balance, as well as activates and stabilizes muscle groups to improve the ability to lift heavier weights and move faster.
