Matthew Perry won with a little help from his friends.
On Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Livehost Andy Cohen asked the actor about his residual income from the popular sitcom in which he played Chandler Bing.
“You talked to Diane Sawyer about the revival friends during the last few years, and it made me wonder,” Cohen, 54, began. “Is it friends Checks that come in today, you will characterize them as bountiful checks? Or would you say it’s a trickle at this point?”

In response, the Friends, Lovers and Awesome Things The author, 53, quipped, “Well, yesterday I bought Iowa.”
After Cohen asked again why the check was “abundant,” Perry replied: “It’s not bad.”
The actor explained, “And they came in the form of a text: ‘You’ve made this.’ And I went, ‘Oh, great.’ “

Continuing the joke, Cohen said, “I heard you really have your eyes on Colorado.” Perry replied, “Yes I do. But The Rock won it.”
This star is perhaps best known for playing Chandler on friends, which ran for 10 seasons on NBC from 1994 to 2004 and also starred Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.

In Perry’s interview with Cohen, he also talked about his dating life, telling the host that he “couldn’t be more single”.
After briefly touching on his past experience with active dating, he said he prefers to date offline. “I was off forever,” he told Cohen. “That’s not the way to meet people, I don’t think.
As for whether or not she’s looking for a partner who’s also sober, Perry said, “That would be nice. But it’s not a necessity.”
“You know, I don’t want to be with anybody who drinks so much that you can’t recognize them,” Perry explained. “That wouldn’t be nice… But I don’t have any rules about that.”
